Many of the orphans in Iraq are exploited by the criminal gangs. The children are considered expendable and easily replaced if caught by the military or the police.

Education is almost non-existent amongst these children who learn that they have to grow up very quickly or you don't survive in the current  environment on the streets of Baghdad.
